Lyn most recently completed a season as an anchor for the program Inside The Orange Bowl. Now, she plans to shift gears and focus on journalism in Global News with interest in World Affairs, International (Middle East) Relations and Humanitarian Crises.

The switch from sports to world affairs is a result of Lyn’s firm belief that people should be ‘global citizens’, in that they commit to furthering their knowledge of what’s happening within the world beyond their own region. Lyn’s career goals include working for the BBC and bringing an unconventional style of storytelling to the global news market and academic goals include earning a J.D-MBA and later a LLM in International Human Rights Law as well as a Masters degree in Global Media Studies with a focus on the dissemination of news media.

Lyn works with AIESEC, an international nonprofit organization, in Miami to promote leadership and cultural understanding in the world’s youth through exchange programs.

Outside of work, Lyn is passionate about travel and humanitarian work. You can find her studying new languages (Currently Dutch and Egyptian Arabic), watching Formula One Racing, or planning her next trip to somewhere she’s never been!
